SMCPS School Library Media Program

The mission of the St. Mary’s County Public Schools Library Media Program is to foster the development of effective, ethical use of information and ideas while advocating life-long reading and learning habits by providing instruction, resources, and services to our students, staff, and community.

Dynard Elementary Library Media Program

  • Dynard students have scheduled media class once per week
  • Books are checked out on a weekly basis. 
  • Students may renew a book if they need it longer than one week.  
  • Students are encouraged to select materials that are age appropriate and of interest to them. 
  • Our goal is to develop a love of lifelong reading and learning.
