Nurse

My name is Camie Noe and I’m proud to serve as your school nurse at Dynard Elementary School. I am a board-certified school nurse with 20 years of nursing experience. The past 13 years has been as a school nurse caring for students in the private and public sector. I received my Bachelor of Nursing degree from Texas A & M
University.
As your school nurse, I am committed to providing comprehensive healthcare services to all students, ensuring they have the support they need to be healthy, safe, and ready to learn. As a school nurse I provide first aid and emergency care, medication administration, health screenings and health education. I also collaborate with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to address students’ individual health needs and promote a positive and healthy school environment. I am here to be a resource and advocate for your child’s health and well-being.

School Physical
Maryland law requires a physical examination completed by a physician or certified nurse practitioner nine months prior to or six months after entering a Maryland public school for the first time. Please refer to the Physical Examination section of the SMCPS Student handbook for more information. If forms are needed, please refer to Immunization & Medical forms.
Immunization Requirements
The School Nurse reviews immunization records to ensure compliance with Maryland Immunization Laws. Please refer to the immunization section of the SMCPS Student handbook for more information about immunizations. If forms are needed, please refer to Immunization & Medical forms.
Lead Form
Maryland law requires all public, Pre-kindergarten, Kindergarten, and First Grade students to have a Maryland Blood Lead Testing Certificate. Please refer to the Lead Testing section of the SMCPS Student handbook for more information. If forms are needed, please refer to Immunization & Medical forms.

Our student handbook details important information about student prescriptions and over-the-counter medications. Please refer to the following sections of the handbook for medication information:
IMPORTANT NOTE: A separate order form is needed for each medication/procedure, and a new order is needed for each school year.
Chronic Health Condition Forms
